It was fine for te past week. Then I upgraded to the patch and installed the mlb mod from the add-ins and then after not seeing the logos went into the menu to reload the logos. Logos looked good. So then I went to change the manager name and got a bizzarre looking screen, colors and jagged lines and my computer locked up.
Rebooted an dnow I cannot get into the game after the initial screen. It loads and the a message comes up saying ootp9 has stopped working and shuts it down. Three times now even after changing to a differet setup of leagues!! Help!! I have vista ultimate and a Dell XPS M1210 core duo 1.83ghz with 2 gigs ram. I do only have 1.57 gigs of hardisk space freee could that help cause this? Should I reinstall (already did that to get the patched version)? It did it again, everytime after I change the name of my manager to my name and the birthdates and make me commissioner and not fireable. I hit ok and whammo it crashes!!

Tried again with a historical league and had the same crash!! Very frustrating! Should I delete all OOTP9 including the exe. files and download it anew?

I would reinstall yet again. Delete the OOTP9 files from the program files folder and the My Docs folder first. Make sure your right click and run as admin the first time you start OOTP. You may also need to try shutting down your anti-virus to see if this problem goes away. It seems there have been issues with Norton, McAfee and AVG thus far.

Well I did get it to work, but could never get the player pictures to show up. The logos are fine tho. The game is working perfectly on my other computer (also a laptop, Alienware mALX, that I primarily use to play World of Warcraft), players pictures and all. I did mess around with the directories and now the game is having some install issues with the mods in the add-in menu.
![]() So tonight I plan on uninstalling once again, deleting all files from the my documents folder and getting rid of allot of junk on my hard drive. I have less than a meg of space left...eeeek! Perhaps this will help. Heck I may even do a clean restore from when it was like new two years ago and go back to WinXP! Oh and what directory should the player photos be in, saved game and/or not? Anything else that needs ot be in this directory besides the photos, like a read me file? Thanks ![]()

OK, on the computer where not everything is working right yet:
Player Pics - look in to updating the driver on your video card HD - you need to make more room. Windows requires a certain percentage of your drive to have free space just to work correctly. Cleaning it up and defragging is a must. I don't have the game on this laptop but I believe the folder for pics is in the news/html folder inside the saved game.
