program doesn't open (using MacBookPro)
I successfully installed OOTP9 on my MacBookPro computer but get an error message when I attempt to open the program.
Error mesage: OOTP found that the crashed_on_startup flag is set. Obviously the game crashed when you started it th4e last time. To make sure that it starts this time, OOTP will reset the graphics settings to defalut values. You can set them back later in the Game Preferen" I did have OOTP8 installed on the computer previously. Perhaps that is conflicting. (I deleted OOTP8 using appzapper) Please help, Gene |

I had that problem also when I installed it to a custom directory. I found that there was a message in the Console indicating a permissions problem. I'm working with pisd_paul in another thread. Check it out and see if you're having a similar problem.

rm -rf ~/.Out\ of\ the\ Park\ Developments/ I usually just type rm -rf ~/.Out and then hit Tab to have the Terminal auto-complete it for me, rather than typing the whole thing in.

As there has been no further update from the OP in the last week, this thread will be closed. If there is anything else to update, let us know and we'll reopen the thread.
