Game Freezes At Completion Of World Series

I've been having issues with two historical leagues I've started. Not sure how much information to include, so I'll start pretty basic.

I started a historical league in 1901 using the in-game DB.
No coaches/scouts
3 minor leagues
Financials disabled
Most other options left as is
Historical player pics and logos

I simmed the season and at the completion of the World Series the game would freeze when I attempted to progress to the day after the Series. I had to kill the game and when I opened the league it took me back to 1/1/01. I tried several times with the same result. I finally gave up and started another league, with the same set-up (save historical player pics), but in 1908. Same thing; when I completed the Series it wouldn't progress to the day after.

I am patched to 9.0.27

If more information is needed, please let me know.

EDIT: Sorry, just found BZ 1594 and it sounds like the same thing.

Yes, that is the same thing, and it has been marked as fixed in the second patch.

To that end, I'll close this thread now, and if the problem does still occur after the next patch, we'll reopen the currently logged thread on this.
