Runtime Error

Hi,

I've got a pretty substantial new problem with my OOTP 9 setup. I just set up a new league with 64 teams. After setup is complete, any button press at all causes a great deal of grinding and thrashing followed by an error message stating "Runtime Error! Program c:Program F.... (I assume it's pointing to OOTP9.exe, but the text is cut off). This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information".

This not only happens with my new league, it happens with my old one now as well. I consider this a minor disaster, as I'm about 30 years into a dynasty that I'm really enjoying with that game.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the application (twice) to no avail. Can anyone point me to a fix for this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

Can you get to a point where you can save the game as soon as setup is complete?

If you can, could you zip up the .dat files and FTP them up to us as per the instructions in the How To FTP Files to Us thread.

Will do. In the meantime I've started a quickstart league and it has the same issues. This happened soon after installing an all-in-one pack. Could that be a problem?

Also, I only crash when I try to visit a roster screen. Financials screens don't do it.
