New crash pattern - at least to me
Have the patched version. Yes, using the MLB rosters that came with the game.
Crashes are epically rampant, but I've learned to live with them by auto saving each week and manually saving after doing something tedious. Now, though, I've noticed a new fun trend. Game crashes 100% of the time after I play out a game and then attempt to sim out the rest of the week (I like to manage one game for my team each week). These are legendary crashes - hard drive sounds like it's grinding morning espresso beans, and they're the type of cool crashes that give you false hope (several breathless minutes elapse before the deadly error message comes up, so you are tempted to think the game is going to pull out of it). ### end of rant ###

First, could you please try upgrading to version 9.1.2 to see if this helps solve your problem?
