Crashes crashes crashes

I am getting quite a bit of crashes all of a sudden, despite the game playing well for about a season and a half.

I'm into July of my second season and the game will crash often (maybe every three games or so) at the end of a played out game when I click the "Finish Game" button.

The most recent crash happened when I was in the roster display for my team and wanted to sort by happiness. This is the league I've been playing since pretty much day 1 of release without much problems. I'm not sure what has changed. When the game does crash, I lose any progress since the last time I closed out of OOTP, which means I lose 3 to 6 games worth. Quite frustrating.
