Player traded twice by same team

I don't know if this has come up before for anyone, but I found what seems to be a pretty serious bug in the game.

Starting pitcher Scott Watson started the season (on April 5) as a member of the Rock Island Independents. They traded him to the Decatur Staleys on the 10th of April, and then on the 12th of April sent him to the Rochester Jeffersons.

Here's a shot of his transaction history:

Has this kind of thing happened to many other people, and is there a fix (other than going in in commissioner mode and undoing the last trade and hoping it doesn't happen again)? I'm using the most current patch of OOTP 9.

Further exploration of the problem suggests that something weird happened between Saturday April 10 and Sunday April 11:

The Staleys made a whole bunch of the same moves on both days; when I checked the player histories of the guys they signed, it says they were signed on both days.

Checking on other teams, all the teams that made moves on both those days have the same problem. None of the teams that were quiet on Saturday have the errors.

In post 1, did the Independents actually acquire all four players listed in those trades? Are they currently on their rosters?

No, they only have on their roster the players in the last trade. The players originally sent by the Staleys to Rock Island still show up on the Decatur roster. Essentially, it's as though the game disregarded any transactions that took place on Saturday.

Is this an on-line league? If not, did it crash at any point? Did you shut down your game without saving at any point?

No, it's not an online league, just my solo game. The game has crashed, but not while this league was running. I did a full reinstall of the game after I started the league, and it may have been during that period of time, but I don't know why that would have affected the saved game. I don't recall ever shutting the game down without saving.

Do other teams display similar behavior in their transaction history over that period of time?

Yes. Every team that made a transaction on Saturday, April 10 has the same kind of error. Not all the teams did, and this appears to be the only trade that was screwed up, but almost all the free-agent signings, promotions, and demotions that happened on Saturday happen again on Sunday.

And they show in the individual player's histories, correct?

It has something to do with the way the game saved the transaction info. It's not that it happened twice so much as the system logged it on successive days.

No, I don't think so, since it happened somewhat differently each time. A different trade was made.

I'd say that the game crashed or something and that the transactions were redone and added to the list twice, but why would they be on different days?

Was there anything unique about April 10th or 11th?

Not that I can think of. At this point all I can think of is that the game didn't save properly after April 10 - I'm told that the game writes the HTML reports as the transactions happens, but doesn't save them until the game is saved. Something happened on April 10, but I can't think of what it was, or why it happened then.
