Crash on "Options and Ballpark"
When I click on "Options and Ballpark" in the team screen, the game's crashing on me. I can navigate through the rest of the team-related tabs and options, though.

Which version of the game are you using, please?

That's odd. Any other crashes when not simming out a game? How much RAM do you have? Are you simulating games in the background while playing out your game?

2 gig. No. I shut everything else off, and the game still crashed. EDIT: When I try to re-open the universe that crashed, it freezes on "Loading Teams", at about 22%, and won't progress any further. EDIT 2: And appears to eat up my RAM in the process. Last edited by His Own Bad Self; 09-06-2008 at 06:03 AM. |

So did your original league repeatedly crash on that tab and now won't open, or did it crash the one time and now it won't open? |

Furthermore, I don't know why a crash while playing out a game ought to mess up your league. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? |

No, but I did think about it yesterday. I'll do so today...
EDIT: Nope, didn't work. Last edited by His Own Bad Self; 09-07-2008 at 05:33 PM. |

Okay. I'll close out this thread for now then, but if you need any further assistance, please post in Tech Support.

Crash on "Options and Ballpark" part 2
A continuation of this thread...
I created a universe of 70 fictional 16-team leagues, 1,120 teams, and didn't change anything except a few of the league's home countries, so that the city names were of the oddly formatted variety (city names with underscores in them and whatnot). Tried Options and Ballparks. Crashed. Created a new universe with the same number of leagues and teams. Didn't change anything. Crashed again. It may simply be that it can't handle that large a setup. Not cool. |

Not at the moment. I'm surprised that it's only this one thing that it can't handle. Everything else works AFAIK, even on a build of this size.

If small universes cause this issue for you as well, please let us know. |

No more problem with Options/Ballpark
I once again did the same thing as detailed in this thread: 70 fictional leagues, 16 teams each, no changes, using 9.2.2. The Options and Ballparks page works fine now, even with so large a world. I'm still running on 2GB RAM, so the size must not have been the real issue. Thanks to Markus and company as always - don't know what you did, but you must have done something that fixed it.
