Awesome finish to the SD/Carolina game!
Oh, and Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann being reunited on Football Night in America is pure awesomeness.

![]() ![]() That carolina/SD game was awesome. To come to San Diego and beat them at home without Steve Smith is a good sign for the rest of the season.

Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann together in the studio covering sports? Am I dreaming? Is it 1995?
They've still got it. I'm really enjoying listening to 'em tonight...as long as Keith doesn't start talking politics, I'm pretty stoked about this. |

![]() Well, that certainly changes things in the NFL this year. I guess I'll just have to try and enjoy the season with low expectations now. We'll see what Cassel can do

I watched Cassel play a couple times when he played at Chatsworth. They played a spread iffense. He should do fine if Brady is injured.

The question is -- how do you explain the lackluster Colts being beaten down by the Bears?

Center Jeff Saturday out plus two new offensive guards means poor interior o-line play. Dallas Clark hurt is a huge blow to the versatility and unpredictability of the Colts offense. Absolutely no good linebacker play to speak of. Turnovers and dropped passes by the Colts receivers. A defensive line that didn't lay a finger on Bears running backs all night. Defensive ends that got to the QB about twice all night. It's not really a mystery--Colts were manhandled by what looked like a better team, honestly. This Colts team will be luck to go .500 if it can't get better play up front on both sides of the ball.

Lot of lackluster games by good teams today. Colts, Pats, Jags, and Bucs.

As horrible as the Raiders looked on Monday, they are awesome today. 16-0 over the Chiefs and McFadden is having his breakout game.

In the Chargers v Broncos game a called on the field fumble and Bronco recovery wasnt overturned because the replay equipment was not working and the Broncos took the ball on the Chargers 30 and are about to score.
If this ridiculous non-overturn (why couldnt the NFL use the TV footage) delivers an undeserved victory to the Broncos, it could ruin the Chargers season..being 0-2.

great since Fargas is out. Defense actually played defense. Amazing what putting some pressure on the qb can do. Of course KC qbs are not to be confused with Peyton Manning. JR & receivers need to get on the same page. Buffalo might be a good test to see if the raiders were just lucky to have played a team worst than them. |
