in the preseason i change my scouting funds from 1 million to any amount from 2 to 10 million. Every time i come back to this though the game has switched it back to 1 million. I am getting killed on scouting. how can i make it stay. i have lots of extra money available.

Two things come to mind, and they both may well be wrong.

Some screens are very Enter sensitive. Make sure you hit that key after your changes.

Although you indicate you have lots of extra money, if your projections indicate finishing the season in the red, you'll only be allowed half the league average for scouting. I don't know what your league average is, but if it's 2 million, there's a clue where to look.
