Question about Babe Ruth

I forgot how the database that comes with the game handles this. Does it create two players, a hitter and a pitcher or does he eventually switch around 1917?

I could do that except I don't have his ratings so that really wouldn't work.

He switches if you have recalc on.

And if I don't have recalc on? I thought they created a new one last time when I didn't have recalc on but I don't remember.
