Markus, I wanted to extend my personal thanks to you as you have been instrumental in our league's migration to OOTP9! I am a member of PEBA and 'Corsairs' above is our league commisioner. You have relieved us of an unbeliveable amount of stress(especially Corsairs)!
![]() So, thanks again for this new version!! You went above and beyond the call of duty and I am very grateful. I'll do everything I can to get more of my friends to purchase the greatest baseball computer game ever invented, OOTP! ![]() -Bill |

Mark thanks for helping the PEBA continue to be absolutely awesome. If it wasn't for you reaching out and bustin' your tail I would still be stuck on the load screen. The OOTP team is top-notch, no doubt about it.

I'm ot computer savvy. help please.. I had same problem once I downloaded images into 9.2.2.. stuck at loading at 22%. I understand the new exe fixes. but I dont know how (computer wise) to get the downloaded exe extracted into the game. What I did was download the file by clicking "run" on download screen. (should I have clicked "save"). then it downloaded (about 8 minutes). then I went somewhere and found the downloaded file and extracted to "Out of the park developments\ootp 9, and then it did 2 things, 1) it said error: elicense couldnt be found, and another just made me answer "yes to all".
My question is: what do I do to get it into the actual game folder, then game.. I understand that it is 9.2.3.. Please be basic (gentle) with computereze. thx Mike |

C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments, where C is your local hard drive contains the files you want to "change", in a folder called OOTP Baseball 9. Navigate to that folder and open it. You'll see a pic like the one in this post.
Download the files again, saving them this time, or if you're sure you know where they are, open a window that shows those files. You'll notice in the pic below I renamed my existing folder to oldMicrosoft... and my existing ootp9.exe to the last version. I suggest you do the same. Then simply select all and copy the files you downloaded, click on the window you have open (where you want to files to go) and right-click paste. You'll be asked if you want to overwrite the existing. Say yes. All should go well. Let me know if you have any additional questions. The elicense issue is probably related to where you were trying to put the file originally or the fact that you selected Run. Let that issue go and follow the instructions above and see if that leads you to success.

This one seems to be all wrapped up, so I'll move it to the Closed threads section. If anyone needs any further help with this matter, please post in Tech Support.
