Cannot Load Options File
I started up OOTP and had an error saying it could not load the options file. I have a backup but it is from a couple of weeks ago. Even that short period kills it for me. Is there a way to fix this?

So I downloaded OOTP and tried installing over my previous installation. Instead of getting an error about the options file it loads the league and when it says finalizing 100% it says windows is shutting the game down. What the heck is going on?

I'm going to move this to Technical Support.
I'm trying to think what options file might be being asked for in this case. Could you run OOTP with trace mode (from the start menu, find OOTP and there'll be a sub-menu called Tools) When the game has started up and died, you'll find in My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 9 a file called ootp.log - could you rename it to ootp.txt and attach it to your reply on here. |
