How do I back up my game.
I purchased the game, and I thought I had the license number stored in my e-mail. Now my (ancient) computer appears to be about to bite the dust. For some reason, I cannot find the license I though I had. Is there any way I can retrieve it? Can I simply back it up and transfer it to another hard drive?

If you really can't find it, you'll probably have to contact e-License. I forget if it gives you your license number when you unlicense. If your HDD still works a little, you might try unlicensing OOTP to see. Actually, you should unlicense either way. |

To back up your league, you can transfer it to another hard drive. Go into your saved_games folder, and copy your league folder (it will have the extension .lg so the league folder's name will be something like YourLeague.lg). Paste a copy of that .lg folder somewhere safe, and you can insert it into any OOTP game's saved_games folder, and you can load it right up. |

And when you find the license, assuming you didn't use it on two computers already, you can use that same license with your new computer, transfer your backup over, and start the game again from the backup file.
Or you can just copy the whole .lg file from your OOTP10 folder and not worry about the backup

While you're at it, just realize that you OWN the two licenses. No matter how many computers you break, you can still get those licenses back.
See here. Thanks! Steve

Now that I've got my license information, how do I download the game?
