I wanted to let you guys know that I am using the work of all of you guys to work on a photo project. I am currently 39.17% through this project (I've been slowly working on it for a long time) and want to know if anybody is interested in helping out.

Goal:
The goal of this project is to create photo file broken down by year for every player. In this fashion I can start at 1970 with as accurate team/photo depictions for that year and via file copy each year the photo is updated if necessary. For example:

Joe Blow plays for the Yankees from 1969-1974, Mets from 1975-1978, Dodgers 1979-1984.

Joe has a photo in the 1969 directory with the Yankees, 1975 with the Mets and then 1979 with the Dodgers.

When I start my league in 1970 he is pictured as a Yankee, he keeps that photo until 1975 when it will change to the Mets and in 1979 it will change to Dodger.

Using:
I am using most of the photo packs that have been created, I am adding to this "Pile" using select photos from this post and when Pegasus updates his batting and pitching files.

Setup:
I have a excel spreadsheet setup that has all team changes for each player and year. This is approx 49,000 photos. (Keep in mind this includes minors and majors) and I mark accordingly as I go through each folder. I a directory with folders for each Year and an update folder (e.g. 1977 and 1977 U). There is also foldgers for photos where the player is on no team, unknown team etc. I move the photo out of my pile directory and put them in the appropriate year. I select the "best" photo for each organization. There also occasion folders for teams when they change uniforms dramatically or move to another place. For players who are in an organization for more than 10 years I put an updated photo if possible for age progression.

I use the naming convention from my database and from Pegasus files remove the team name at the back of the file. I have these sorted by team in the "pile"

What is done:
I have actually done all players playing from 1973-1983 as complete as I can. I also have many more done (like I said i am almost 40% through.

What you can do if your interested:
I want to focus on 1973 through 1999. If somebody wants to do this for players from a specific era I can send them a portion of the list and my files for them to work with. Pre 1900 is easy and I have alot of them done. I figure working on a decade is a reasonable task and easy to break down and assign.
