I was hoping that players being highlighted in "Red" in the roster screens would have been changed to blue or some other color, cause when using the dark scheme, it is really hard to read these players names. I was led to believe from my ticket I sent in that you agreed and so thought it would be changed in the patch.

None of the issues I submitted tickets on were addressed. Gotta love the new tech support method we're using.

Oh well, something is better than nothing, so thanks, but for me, none of the things listed in this patch were not really very pressing issues, at least for me anyway. I admit, maybe others feel they were important, and if so, I'm happy their issues were addressed. Just expressing my silly frustrations.

- Added option to hide the injury history rating
- Added an (editable) league evolution log to the league history screen
- Added option for the 10/5 rule

Where is the history rating located, I'm at work?

What is the league evolution log?

Also, I assume the 10/5 rule is, whereby players who have been with a club for 5 consecutive years and have been a major league player for 10 years cannot be traded without their consent?

That one (10/5) seems like it would have taken quite a bit to code?

1) I "think" this is for people who don't want to see the fragile, normal, durable, etc injury ratings. They can just rely on looking at player history to determine if the player is injury prone.

2) I think this is for the evolving leagues. It probably keeps a running list of league changes throughout the years. I.E. 2004-League expanded to 170 games, 2006-NL adopted DH, etc.

3) Agreed...hope the AI can handle this properly. If so, seems like a cool idea.

Markus' list above is a general list, not every little thing. I will do my best to provide a specific list of every issue that has been addressed when the patch comes out...

Thanks!

Markus;

With being the newest person to buy OOTP11 (since my girl bought it for me earlier today) I'm looking forward like many to this new patch however would it be possible to have an option to remove old leagues from html output ? as I had my league split into 3 now it's into one big league and well to be honest I still got the other two leagues showing up on HTML if you want to know what I mean check out my baseball site below... although keep in mind if that was fixed between OOTP8 and OOTP11 then just tell me since I won't be posting up the OOTP11 output until later tonight.

This is certainly my favourite part of the update. I've tried to mimic it by giving players NTCs, nut this saves me the trouble.

Now all we need is teams getting new ballparks as part of the league evolution thing.

Many people have questioned exactly what causes this but at any rate it has been discussed many times. Since there are not many bug fixes listed above I am concerned this has not been corrected.

Any comment by the developer would be appreciated.
^ ^ ^ This is very important, as it's a game breaker for those of us that modify our databases. Having teams combine for 120 errors in one game due to the fact that nobody can catch the damn ball is not even at the level of beer league softball or maybe even T-ball. There are some amazing features in this game that I'm itching to try, but not at that price.

Steve already mentioned that this list Markus gave was just a partial list, but I'd like to add one more thing about tech support. All that tech support can do with regard to bugs is log the issue for the developers to fix them. It's up to the developers to fix the bugs, not tech support. Tech support can help people fix problems that aren't related to bugs, but that's all. By the way, most problems submitted to tech support are not bugs (I just generated a report and checked this).

In other words, the new tech support method we're using is helping to make sure things are logged with clear explanations of the problem so that the developers can more easily resolve them. It's easier to keep track of things now than it was in the past, so it's actually working better than before.

I understand you were just expressing frustration, but I just wanted to clarify the role of tech support.

The 10/5 rule is a neat addition. However, are players given a real option whether or not to accept a trade or do they still just reject every trade that they are allowed to reject? Is there some sort of morale/desire for winning team/home town proximity sort of calculation being run?

Given the inclusion of this rule, would it be difficult to also include the MLB restriction on trading newly signed free agents (who played for a different team the previous season) for a couple of months into the regular season? This would prevent teams from signing players to be immediately used as trade value.

Still no love for locking players into a line-up spot or pitching staff slot?

I was hoping to see something mentioned about this also, as I sent a ticket in on the force start bug also. Maybe Markus just didn't mention it in his list?

BTW, my earlier comments were indeed frustrations felt when I didn't see any of the issues I sent tickets in on addressed in the list. But also, just trying to prove I'm not a fanboy like I've been called earlier while we waited for the patch.

Anything on these issues

Roster rules for play-offs. Who can be on the active roster and so on.
(guess all knows what I mean)

Using the schools.txt file to work with creation of Feeder Leagues.

Shouldn´t HS players that was drafted (even not drafted) have the option of signing, go FA , (those happens) BOTH I haven´t seen that a portion of them should elect to sign with a College Feeder team.
Make this more happening please Marcus so that Feeder Leagues work a little better.

Perhaps some is in the also fixed, or perhaps in the next.

Oh yea....forgot about the earned-unearned run crap. I really see
no excuse for this with this being version 11.

I bought version 11 but really have no reason to play it with such garbage.
A free version 8 is a better solution.

Trades really happening in Draft meaning lets say the Yankees have like Ryan Jenks on their board and think a team ahead of them might Draft him they might call the Brewers and say will give you 23rd Pick,88th Pick,123rd Pick,Nick Swisher and Romine for 18th Pick and so on.

Once again you are posting blather. Version 11 is so much improved over and better than Version 8 in so many ways that your statement is just silly.
