Thanks for the info on Post. I have pretty much the same stuff. On one hand it's strange how some of these guys slip through the cracks, then again, it's amazing how many haven't slipped through the cracks. I think we have more than could ever have imagined.

Looking for a couple full iamges (more than a mugshot) of former Senators P Dick Such, as well as former Negro League pitcher Pedro "Pete" Sierra. Sierra pitched in the Senators/Twins system I believe but never made the majors. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Here are a few Dick Such Senators images. As Cheech mentioned, you can find several images on eBay right now. There are many more full-length images available from his long tenure as Twins coach, 1985-2001.

There is a good photo of him in the Negro League Players Association site . I am sorry i can not place the photo here , but i am new , and i don't know how to upload the images .

Hi there,

Can anyone out there help me out. Im am looking for player photos for the 1927 mlb season. If anyone has photos either b&w or colorized, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sal,

Your best bet when looking for all players who appeared in a season would be to download the facepack. Granted, there will be many photos you do not need as well, but you will have pictures of every player who appeared in a game during that season (there are no missing players who appeared in the Majors in 1927).

There were 541 players who played in the Majors in 1927, the "oldest" debut being Ty Cobb in 1905. If you would like a spreadsheet showing all of the 1927 players along with their debut year, send me a pm.

Thanks for the help but will it have the accurate team that they were on. ty cobb started in 1905 with det. but in 1927 was with pha. will the facepack have that 1927 photo of him on pha as well.
