				Overwrote my data files

And forgot to backup the originals... One of those "Oh wait...no!" moments. Is there anyway I can get the originals?

The .txt files in the data folder, I am assuming all of them (first name, last name, nickname) I overwrote them with Malleus Dai's all american files and forgot to backup the originals

i would say they are gone. Deleted files are fairly easy to get at, but when you overwrote them with files of the same name? i would say gone. Unless you are on Win 7 with "previous versions" enabled. See below: Previous versions of files: frequently asked questions I can not say enough about this feature, if you do not use it, you should be. |

No real harm in and of itself, except the work, but do be careful if you have done any customization, i.e. skin files particularly or custom graphic work, or substituted icons, because the re-install will overwrite these. If they exist, pull 'em outta there and put 'em back in after you're done.

In my OOTP folder there is a default_data folder. Inside there are TAR files. These are compressed files that can be opened with WinRAR. The files you need are in the database.tar file. I don't remember if this folder is created automatically or not.
