I've searched NewspaperArchive, GenealogyBank, Ancestry and LoC to no avail. I'm still hopeful that I can find something from his record-setting 1896 season, but nothing yet. I've also been unsuccessful tracking down team pictures with adequate IDs. I'll keep you posted...

Thank you. I've looked mainly for team photos assuming they would be easier to find but nothing has turned up. I suspect that his 25 HR year was only newsworthy in the local town and even with that he bounced around a lot.

Probably one of those that will never be found though we have seen some photos turn up in the boxing forums of fighters that have really surprised everyone down there so who knows.

folks enjoy the pictures!! I will update pictures twice a year !! Like to thank all those who have helped me !!! Spent many hours doing this !! Im semi retired so i have the time i placed many items from many sites if u have a pic thats better than mine or a player i dont have send it to me!! Im always looking for a better picture
