Game Crash (OOTP12)

I usually only ever play the Start a New Major League game mode and every time I get to around two or three seasons into my games the game will crash when I go into a menu to do something random like; look at my ML pitching lineup, or a players profile. Has anyone else experienced this? I have the final update to the game version. It sucks because I will forget to save after several weeks of ongoing transactions and then suddenly - CRASH! Any idea's?

I experienced a crash problem when the power went out when I was playing the game. I would click on anything to do with my team (players, lineup etc...) and it would crash.

I saved my folder containing my saved leagues in another area on my computer and re-installed the entire game. I then copied my old saved league folder in my new install and all worked fine with my league after that.
