How can I edit positions?
I am using real transactions and I had just finished the 1996 season. When I started 1997 my second baseman, he played 50 games in real life, show up with no positions listed. I went into the edit player but could not get 2B listed for him, nor any other positions.
Any ideas? Thanks, John |

Thanks for the ideas Chicagofan,
I will try them. It is odd how one player has no positions listed. When I went to edit him I could not add anything, and I thought I hit return, but I'll try it again. John |

If a players fielding ratings and/or experience are too low this will happen as well.

The fielding rating shouldn't be low, nor not enough experience, the player in question was the 1997 Mariano Duncan. I can add other positions to his ratings, LF & RF but not 2B. I also think he played a couple of games at SS too.

Really, check his four inf ratings and experience. If you make all his ratings 100 and his experience 100 I bet you'll see 2b show up.
100 or whatever the scale is you use - Max them out in the player editor.

Thanks Spritze,
When I changed his error rating I got him at 2B.....why wouldn't he have showed up without one, he played most of his games at second and although not much of a glove man? John |

Playing time makes no nevermind. The bottom-line reason is that is how Markus programmed it. You ain't got no rating, you don't got game. You don't got game, you don't play there. Simple.

But, the way Duncan played 2B, does he really deserve a rating.
