Waiting? You mean the system hasn't let you login yet to open up a ticket?

errors in owner numbers
Several of the MLB owners are listed as 0 patience and 0 spending. Sorry if this is the wrong spot but I just noticed this.
Also, the teams seem to have randomly-different amounts of cash on hand. Not sure if that is something generated when the game loads, or hard-coded. Last edited by GMLoophole; 04-06-2012 at 06:08 PM. |

Thanks again for letting me do this. I've started the upload so Andreas can check it out now.

Confusing Functionality
According to the default setup, League Setup/Options/Allow Incomplete Minor League Rosters is not checked. As a result, if you have an incomplete roster, say in your lowest rookie league, you will get a message that tells you that you have an illegal number of players on your team. As an OOTP vet, I quickly solved the problem by checking the above Option. However, for a newbie this might be confusing.

I just tested this in the classic skin and can't get it to do this. If you can get this to repeat, let me know how. Or does it do this every time?

Lines Not Lining Up
Saw someone else mention this but didn't see a response, so I'll post it again with a screenshot. Really minor cosmetic issue. On the Front Office: Financial page, the sum lines are misaligned.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the purpose of real time simulation. My guess was it was added so that you can keep track of other games in the league while you're playing your own and, if you wanted, you could jump in and watch a game of interest? Anyhow, when using it, it makes your bullpen box disappear. |

I'm not sure if this is a bug but when I played my first game (with Verlander) I checked his stamina and after 20 pitches it was "9% Completely Exhausted" I dont know if this affects him during game or just starting tomorrow. He wasn't very good this game, so I dont know. It was the same for the other starting pitcher too.

I called up an SP for the end of the season to start so I can rest my ace. I set him to start the third to last game of the season (rotation set to strict order), and instead a reliever started. I tried again, but this time a different reliever started. I tried one last time for the last game of the season with him in a different slot of the rotation, and another reliever started. I checked and it wasn't the uncleared injury thing. He wasn't eligible to pitch on my postseason roster, but that shouldn't matter since it was the end of the regular season.

Thanks for letting me connect to your computer. It made it much easier to understand what was happening. I've logged this bug into the system now.

saving world template; editing nation and city files
Hey all
First off - amazing game!! Much better than 11 (last one I bought) 2 things: 1) I built a world with 4 leagues, then went to save them to a template (just in case it crashes - so I don't have to do 2-3 hrs work again), and this message appears: "Error! Could not save template! File already exists?" 2) Am kinda disappointed that the cities and nations were moved to an xml file, which has been a PITA to open (with Serna). There are certain cities that I like to add/edit before creating a baseball world, now it's much more difficult. 2a) Not for me, but what about players looking to add a whole other nation, with brand-new cities? Or...creating a 51st state - Long Island (done that before)? Thanks in advance |

It sounds like you might be able to edit this in game, but I'm not positive. Regarding #1. Does this happen no matter what name you give it?

Yes. Furthermore, as soon as I tried to start the game: 1) Couldn't choose a nation for the manager 2) Game wasn't able to create; it crashed |

See this thread regarding 2&2a: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...uestion-2.html
It sounds like you might be able to edit this in game, but I'm not positive. And..as for 2 and 2a: maybe it can be edited in-game, but the changes aren't permanent. Meaning: whatever changes were made, won't carry over to the next game. Can be good, can be bad. The minor editing should be done in-game for each universe, but the heavy editing needs to be accomplished before the game is created. |
