Cool thing to do...
Get a friend and pick a year. Like 1968.
One guy picks two teams from the NL and the other pick two teams from the AL. One team has to have a winning record and one team has to have a losing record. Combine the two teams and then let the AI set the lineups and pitching staff. Then bet a lot of money on outcome and use the simulation mode to have them play 162 games.... To combine the two teams, be the commissioner and bring up one of the teams. Click on a player in the ROSTER view and then click on EDIT. Change his team to the new team you want him on, then use the link up top to the next player. Assign him to the team and move to the next. It only takes a few minutes. Then do the other team. Then you can run the simulation. Then optionally, you can fill the two empty teams with fictional players and then let the sim play the year out and see how the modified teams do and also how the fictional teams do.
