There's a writeup about an up and coming reliever for the Indians. Saying how he has a lot of pressure, blah blah. Later on in the article it states that NY manager Manny Acta (he's still with the Indians in game) says blah blah. And then at the end of the article it says the Yankees will be looking to him to contribute soon.

Ok, I have three bugs, a couple of them are quite serious.
1. A teams Catcher was injured, with a diagnosis pending. Yet the team kept listing him in the line-up and then subbing him straight away (either with a pinch hitter or when his team took the field on defense, whichever came first) until the diagnosis was announced and he was ruled out for 4 weeks. 2. The bug where Champions weren't listed on the history page if you closed the game between the final game and pthe start of the of-season was fixed in OOTP 12. However, the bug still exists for leagues that don't have play-offs 3. When playing the RTS in "Real Time" the game loses a couple of minutes every hour. After about four hours of real time the game clock is about 10 minutes behind. Last edited by Nugget699; 04-22-2012 at 01:36 AM. |

Could not import the historical_import_path
setup: windows ootp 13.2.6 installed on two computers, historical league, transferring savedgame.lg between them with online sync or usb stick.
issue: every time game is opened on second computer, pop-up error: Quote:
diagnosis: the game looks for the \user\...\stats data path of the computer on which league was *created*, not the computer where the savedgame.lg is being *loaded*. because the second computer is never going to find the data path of the first computer, an error message pops up. consequence: no players in hall of fame, no all-time records, etc., because apparently not found and not loaded. fix: when loading a savedgame.lg, the game should use the /stats on the computer on which it was opened, like it does with other automatically installed user data. note: you can manually change the \stats folder on the second computer to avoid the pop up error, but the fix is not permanent and is confusing/annoying (i.e., have to follow menu items game>advanced\setup & options>league setup>historical>historical rookie options, and change the historical rookie "database path" to the /stats data path on the new computer). i learned that after contacting technical support. faced with an pop up error about stats not loading, few would know to go deep into multiple levels of advanced league setup to change the database path for importing historical rookies. hope you will resolve this. thanks, great work on the game, best ever. |

Can't sign free agents/extend players
I just completed my first season and my team along with all other teams are not allotted any money to sign free agents even though i and all the teams have the budget room. I also can't make any trades as well, even though the budget room is there, and in the green.

Playing a game
When playing a game in the 2nd inning, the display cuts off the line on the d so it looks like this "2nc". Nothing major just thought I would report this.

Had an occasion where the PbP indicated a pop up to short left field but the ball animation was to right field and the PbP correctly had the 2nd baseman make the catch.

The time zone of games are still off. Games in California shows as 1:05 am eastern isntead of 10:05 eastern. A game in KC is 9:05 PM eastern instead of 8:05 eastern. |

Some of my notes:
Only league I've played in 13 so far: Custom historical league starting 1871, realistic financials, rookies, some minor rule tweaks (dhs, number of foreigners in foreign leagues etc). Full Majors, minors, College and High school feeder, all foreign leagues from stock game with stock league setups. (just trying to see how my computer would run with a full running baseball world- works pretty good!)
Some have been touched on, others I couldn't find anything on, News messages cut off on bottom for player stats/pics (repeat) An injured player, SP, a few days before the end of the season, (ML-1880 Brooklyn Atlantics), pending diagnosis. End of season comes and start of playoffs, then diagnsois is 6 months. No problem. Except that after I put him on the DL he was still in my Pitching Lineup and the Pitcher moved up from AAA was not visible. Injured player was listed in red and was not available to play, but left me a player short. Still won, but is a bug. (I think this was kinda touched on a few posts up the page). I started in minors with no financial control, changed to a TPBL team with some control. I noticed about 6 years in, around 1877, that when I was able to sign free agents, there were astronomical values assigned. I had not altered ANY financial settings, including media contracts, stadiums, ticket prices, etc. at this time. Average player on teams ran from 75 to 200 dollars, FA top players were in 10,000+ range. This got worse as I played out and signed with Brooklyn in 1779. No team could afford the players, yet some how they kept getting signed. Don't know how. I also noticed, may not be a big issue, that most good pitchers were not rated high. Most of the ones I had success with I searched for specific ratings and skill settings but usually less than a 3 star prospect. Both my rookie of the year ML pitchers that I won World Series with were one star prospects. This early in history, maybe hitting plays a big affect, I don't know, but most of my 4 or 5 star pitchers do not perform as well and usually wound up in the minors. Also noted the AI tends to put a lot of players in positions they are not very good at for their bat, even when overall strategy settings are set to defense. I had a TON of errors until I figured out what was going on and had to reasign players and set player strategy to make it better. Thanks, for putting together a fantastic time waster that keeps me from getting the quality sleep I desparatley need from day to day. Plays great by the way! Bought OOTP off and on for years since the second or third one over ten years ago. Best Bang for the buck in games! |

Ratings disappeared
I am in my 3rd season and suddenly the Overall and Potential ratings disappeared. I never had this happen before. Has anybody got any ideas what I can do to fix it?
I fixed it by shutting down OOTP and starting the program again. I hope this doesn't become a consistent problem

Mac version here.
I usually like to play an historical league with fictional cities starting with an inaugural draft. I'm noticing, however, that EVERY SINGLE SEASON the team cities and names all default back to historical names. Am I stuck reentering the names every year or is there some way to disable this reset (which didn't seem to happen in any past versions of OOTP)? |

Another maybe bug from an MLB universe.
Its 2013, Friend and I are playing as the Padres and our shortstop, Jurickson Profar, gets suspended for 15 days in a bench clearing brawl. I noticed he was playing the next game but I figured it was maybe like he's "appealing his sentence" but he continued to play 8 of the next 15 games, then his suspension was over. |

Pretty sure this is a bug. Apologies if this has been posted before as I stopped looking back about 10 pages from the bottom of the thread. Issue outlined in these two threads:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...pearances.html http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...rly-1900s.html I believe these are both the same issue. Using 13.2.6 on Windows. Not sure why this is happening. It definitely should not be happening in pre-'30s leagues. In my testing from the second thread linked, it only seems to be an issue when the Pitcher Stamina in the Strategy setting is anything below Very High. Disregard the schedule comments in that thread...doesn't seem to play into it after all. |

Problem: injured player not in lineup, ootp puts him back in lineup when game starts, pinch hitter bats for injured player in top of 1st, pinch hitter replaced in he field injured player's backup in bottom of 1st.
Injured player (out), on human team, starts the game even though not in lineup Here is everything I think might be relevant: Windows 7, ver 13.2.6 My third baseman was out for week, not on dl, left in the team setup lineup Started game, injured third baseman not in lineup (blank spot) Changed setting to have my manager handle substitutions, which filled the blank spot with backup third baseman Changed substitutions back to human to adjust batting order Changed substitutions and all other options to manager control Start game When it comes to #3 spot (backup third baseman) in 1st inning, the pbp reads pinch hitter comes to plate instead The backup third baseman then replaces the pinch hitter when the team takes the field I have the game log. |

Hello,
I am experiencing a repeatable crash. OOTP crashes upon creating the All Stars' baseball cards (each time immediately crashing when creating Grant Balfour's card - and I'm playing as the A's). I've uploaded my .DAT files to your server under the name CoolDudeWill. Let me know what additional information you need from me. Thanks!

RTS & Scoring Update Bug
There was a runner on 2nd that tried to steal third and made it home on a throwing error by the catcher. But this event wasn't mentioned on the RTS screen on either that game or the Scoring Updates.
Here's the game log: ![]() Here's the game on the RTS screen right after the runner scored:
