Markus,
A VERY small request, since it was something you added to the last patch. On the league standings screen, you added the checkbox to "Show Leaderboards". Is it possible to have the game remember whether I checked the box so that the next time I start the game and go to that screen, it doesn't automatically default back to not showing the leaderboards.

Thanks!

Well...since new suggestions are being made I'll throw this one out.

I'm a historical replayer and for me the top thing added to OOTP was the inclusion of the line in the expanded players data box that includes the years real life stats for the season you are actually replaying. (It's late...sorry for the tiring long sentence)

With all the nice new changes this one is my fav because it really opens up replaying past seasons and playoff games.

If I could make one wish for the game it would be to have the option to have the real life stats line to be highlighted so that it stands out for replayers. Main reason: these old tiring eyes dealing with the not so large print in the midst of several lines of stats. : )

Thanks for a solid game.

Any word on when international scouted "early find" amateurs will stop asking for major league contracts, and simply want bonuses with minor league contracts instead?

Check your game and you'll see a GM for all the teams. If we can't edit them why are they there.

Like i said if you delete one you can't get them back. All i want to do is get it back.

I like to have real names of ex players or managers in the GM . Not fictional ones
I just tested this and I was able to get him back.

First I assigned a human manager as a GM of a team, have them resign, which did blank out the space for the real GM.

What you can do, however, is use the search feature to find the GM (he's still in the game and with the same team), click his editor tab, assign him back to the Braves and back as GM.

You could also create a fictional GM from the league personnel screen (unfortunately it just plops him into the list without telling you his name, so you might want generate the report first then compare it to after he's generated to see who is new to the list), edit his name and assign him.

It would, however, be much nicer if instead of displacing the real GM after having the human manager be fired that the former stayed. I know a lot of people like to pretend they're either the owner, GM, or manager or a combination of the three so it'd be nice if we could still have the others.

one small request Markus...in crease the size of the scoreboard in game by about 10%. That should fit all the team names in the boxes...i play at 1920 resolution..and i have lots of extra room for all the information on your game screen

Thank you for your responce

I tried everything you said and still can't get a GM for the team that lost theirs.

When i create a fictional one. It still goes to the select job screen, which lists all jobs excepy a GM.

I did the human Manager thing but it doesnt put him in the game so i can run him from my league, the one i'm commish in.

I have my old GM in the game still it lists him as a available GM in the list but you can assaign a team to him then again it wants you to select Job which there is no GM in that list.

Would be easy to just add a GM to the Job List

Maybe i'm doing something wrong from what you said I'll keep trying

Thanks Again

THanks Again

I tried again it and yes I now him a GM for my team that didn't have one.

After i had the new human coach resign a GM showed in the Jobs list so i hired the guy i wanted thanks. I think the key might be have any GM you want to change in the game is just have him resign.

Still don't understand why we can't have GM in the jobs list. After all it is a Make beleive game that we all play our own way.

But without a doubt it is the best game money can buy and it has the people and kindest people on the forum.

Thank You OOTP and this wonderful forum

My only request is to have a slider for the frequency of interactive storylines. I've been through 4 seasons and have yet to see one. It's such a great (and much needed) feature I'd live to see it happen often. Thanks

And while we're hoping. I would love to have height and weight back on the player profile in-game widget. I now have to go to the player's BNN page.

The frequency is only one aspect of them coming up. Other player, team, league and world conditions might have to be met. We will be adding more storylines over time and hopefully the mod cummunity will jump on this feature and add to the pool of stories once the community editor is ready which should help increase instances of them coming up.

Markus, will you please patch the curse script for the Cubs so that when I play as their GM I can at least advance to the second round of the playoffs?

Thanks.

Ok, actually when you're playing out a game.

I was hoping it was added to the "split" in the team batting stats1 view.

In fact when you play random you have no idea what year of the players career you are actually replaying, besides maybe guessing towards the end or the beginning merely through age. I kind of like it because it's a bit harder to take a quick peak at their remaining career numbers.
