quirk of Batter list in Pitching Charts

Every once in a while (much more often than it should happen), I go to the pitching charts. Instead of a list of pitchers, the pitching chart shows a list of batters.

This quirk has existed for as long as I have been playing the game.

Now, I know that I was not looking at a list of batters, the prior time I was viewing the pitching chart. So, it is not something I have done wrong.

Suggestion: Every single time the pitching chart is displayed, change the list option to "All Pitchers" if a different pitcher ("Starters", "Relievers") selection has not been chosen.

I believe that this would be an extremely simple code change. Furthermore, this is an irritating quirk for the user, which should never happen.

If you click on the icon to go the pitchers list, and you see batters, click on the icon a second time.

Apparently this is not easily fixed in the programming.

Shouldn't it be a relatively easy fix to set separate defaults for each tab in that menu? Unless the GUI code is severely old and byzantine, but IIRC it was rewritten relatively recently.

Of course because I'm not on the beta team (and never will be, because I'm not really committed enough and I like the freedom of not knowing stuff I can't reveal*, if that makes sense) I'll never know if it's easy or not, but as a programmer, it perhaps should be.

*i/e I'm terrible with secrets, probably why I advocate open source software too much lol.

I'm so used to the slow double click that it doesn't bother me any more. However with the new layout on the transaction screen I really really hate that it stays on the stats level of the last minor league team I looked at. There has to be a solution for that; it is really annoying.

Edit for clarity

When you return to the major league team the stats remain at the level of the last minor league team you were on. AAAARRRRGGGGHHH.
