Team Exports

As a commisioner in an on-line League, a team will send in a team export that when i try to import states "Invalid File ! Import not Completed !" 2 out of 3 times having the team re-export the file solves the error. What typically casus this error and what advice should I be offering the team owners to prevent this problem? Thanks for your help.

The only case when I have heard of this is when the league file is of a different date than the one it is being imported to.

Can OOTP3 files be imported into STB and vice Versa or do they only work for the same game.

I believe that they can as long as they are "patched or updated" to the same point.

The team that i was initially having problems with their export has taken their problem to a new level. Their game has completely disallowed the creation of the export. When the team export button is pressed, an error pops up and doesn't create the export.

It is an internet league and the owner does have all four folders present in their league file.

Are there any suggestions? If the suggestion is to uninstall and reinstall OOTP3, some advice on that would be appreciated as well. Especially on how to save the elicense.

I would recommend that they do that and delete the league file they have and you send them another one. It could be that the GM is signing players or releasing players on his own which is a no-no.

I guess here is the interesting twist, the owner sent me a copy of their league file and i was able to create exports from his league file and able to import his league export. His export did work properly. Your answers helped with that problem as well.

Were can i find info on uninstalling the game and how to protect the elicense?
