I am having more owners in my league submit team exports to me for lineups and roster moves. I do not have the "password" function enabled. What problems could happen by not enabling it and doing imports ? Can owners edit player salaries and change ratings if I import one that they did that with ? Or does the import not load if they attempt that ? incapatable files ? Please advise how that works!

Now I have enabled the internet play and entered the commisioners password. I tried to import a team file that an owner sent me and I get "an invalid file" notation telling me I can not import the team file. Does this tell me that he may have edited a player rating, or released a player, or edited salary information ? Or possibly he doesn't have the latest league file update I sent out ? Or all(or any) of the above.
Do I need to enter the team password for that export to be able to import it ? Not sure why team password button is there for commissioners use. Please advise Thanks

You shouldn't need to enter the team password for it to work. It might happen if you've just made a trade because that would change the rosterss. Try re-downloading the whole league file, it should work there.

After you enable passwords the league GM's all need to DL this new league file. From there they can enter their individual team passwords, and these team passwords make it to your "master" copy of the league file after you import their next roster export file. [quote] Do I need to enter the team password for that export to be able to import it ?

If the GM has set his password than either the commish or team PW will work. If the other commish has not set the PW yet than you don't need to enter any PW to get to the teams imports rosters screen. |
