Coaches/Scouts Bug (I'm 80% sure this is real)

This was half on my part of being a forgetful commish in the first place, but I think I've discovered something -

I did a simulation for my league and then put out the league file for everyone to download on Sunday....by Sunday afternoon most of my owners had downloaded the file...

Sunday night one of the owners reminds me that I hadn't put in the coaches that teams had winning bids for (we do our bidding on a website similar to Ebay and I hire the coaches for the teams right before I simulate games)

I go ahead and put in the coaches on my league file and assign them to the correct teams. For example, I replace A.Scott with D.Kozinki in A Ball for the Dodgers.

When I import the teams for the next sim, miraculousy the Dodger's import works (even tho on his file he still has A.Scott as the coach and I have D.Kozinski on my league file)

I realize the screwup and then go to find Kozinski in the coaches available. He's not there. When the Dodgers import happened, it accepted the file even though the coaches were different, and instead of rejecting it, it just over-wrote Kozinski all together and took him out of the game pretty much, placing A.Scott with the A Ball team.

Is this a bug? If I import a team and the coaches are different, it's still accepting the file and overwriting whatever I have set on my file as the managers, in effect erasing them from the game.

I realize that this is my screwup, and it's fairly simple to correct - I'm just going to edit one of his coaches and give him a boost. But I'm bothered by the fact that his import even worked in the first place.

I saw another guy's post here in the threads that had coaches disappear. I think this is what happened to him also.

Also I just found out this as well. When an import happens and if it over-writes a coach on the commish's main league file, it gives that coach/scout a contract of $0 signed through 2002 (this is using the total minors roster)
