ERROR MESSAGE????????

i keep recieving an error message that reads "could not initialize instillation. File size expected= 11251074. size returned= 10741608. The parameter is incorrect". Does anyone know what this means?? please let me know

Is this an error during the installation of the game? If so it's sounds like you did not download the entire file and you will need to download it again. If this answer does not apply to your situation please reply with further info about the error and your operatings system info etc..

I've already tried to download it again and the same error message comes up. My operating system is windows 98, the RAM is 64 MB and the computer is a pentium II 350 mhz.

The reason for this type of error is that the download was corrupted during download, and the full file was not downloaded correctly.

Please clear your internet browser cache (in IE it's TOOLS --> Internet Options --> then choose to delete temporary internet files.

If a user that uses Netscape can provide the instructions to clearing the Netscape browser cache that would be appreciated.

After clearing your browser cache download the installation file again and it should install fine.

Dolapost: It would not hurt deleting the incomplete installation file also, just in case that original incomplete file is being used to attempt the installation. Downloading the file from a different server might also be wise if you have that option.
