Stadium Error in Historical Data
I just pulled down the Seattle Mariners 2001 to play in a historical league.....I went into the Options & Ballpark tab and it says the 2001 Mariners are playing in the Kingdome......HUH?
Seattle got away from the Kingdome in 1999.....Why is the game incorrect? RW |

All Stadiums wrong....why?
I actually looked at all my teams that I imported and most of the stadiums are incorrect.....was there some setting or something I needed to do to get the right stadiums when I imported into my new fictional league?

If you're not playing a proper historical league and are trying to do custom imports, I don't know. Unless there is a mistake in the ballparks in the game database, it might be a problem with what you're trying to do. What is the game year in your saved game file?

So when you import different historical teams into the same league, their ballparks from that year don't come with them? That seems rather odd.

Ballparks are tied to the year of the current season, not the historical year of the team. The game doesn't know you imported the 1927 Yankees. In the game, it's just the Yankees.
I believe you can manually alter the ballpark however. From the Home Page, click edit ballparks. Somewhere in there you can change which ballpark the team plays in. |
