League totals after expansion

I am going to expand my MLB quickstart by two teams and was wondering if i need to adjust league totals manually to compensate or if the game will handle it on its own? And if i need to then by how much?

My experience is it's all relative. So the game engine isn't looking at how many homeruns you put in there, but rather how many are there in relation to the amount of at bats.
