Historical Facegen

I decided to start a historical game using random players. I noticed the historical facegen in add ons and downloaded it. However, I still have the original facegens in my game I started. I tried loading the downloaded historical facegen, closed and opened the game, but its still not loaded. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks for all the help I am getting here. You all are great!!

You have fake players and you want real facegens for them? Did i read that wrong?

No, I decided to use real players. But the facegen still has random images in it. How do I load the facegen into my current game so the historical facegen images show up? Thanks.

If I understand correctly, you started your league before you downloaded the historical facegen add on? If so, one thing you could try is to go to setup & options and select league setup and select the Color & Graphics menu on the bottom of the screen. From that menu, you can try generate new player pictures for your league. I'm not sure if this will work, but it can't hurt to try it.

How about you stop attacking others who are trying their best to be helpful? Even I misread what mdlong was asking. I thought mdlong meant he was using a mix of real and fake players.

What you need to do is to go to your saved game's news\html\images\person_pictures and profile_pictures and delete everything that doesn't have default in the name. Make backups of the folders first just in case. Restart ootp and your photos will be auto created as long as they are named correctly.
This is the best and easiest way to add photos after you've created a game.
