St. Louis Cardinals 2013 (Newbie to game)

Ok we will see where this goes. I am starting the 2013 season with the St. Louis Cardinals. I will try to post after every series and see where that takes me. I just bought OOTP 14 last week and I have tried to read as much as possible about the game. Wish me luck.

April 1st
The Cardinals lost their first game of the season, falling to the Diamondbacks 9-7.
The Diamondbacks strike first in 3rd & 4th innings scoring 5 runs. The Cards score 4 in the top of the 5th and then tie it in the top of the 6th. Score 5-5. Craig and Holliday hit back-to-back homers in the 7th to go up 7-5, but Parra erases that with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 7th.
Montero and Parra get key RBI's in the 8th to got up for good in the 8th inning. Putz comes in to close the door for the save.

Player of the game = M. Parra

WP - Collmenter (1-0)
LP - Boggs (0-1)
SV - Putz (1)

Season Record 0-1
