Sadly these are the only files I separated when going through some Boxing News issue-by-issue and creating fighters. Maybe will return to it some day.

Great stuff, Bob. I love getting new fighters. It has been a while since I've had so many to add. Ratings look good to me. I only see the need for a few minor tweaks. Some of the fighters with HP over 2 don't have any 3 point punches. I'd add some. There were also a couple of guys with the clinch number equal to punches missed. Punches missed should always be lower for realistic clinching to occur.

I use use following tables
HP 3pt Range
1 0 to 3
2 3 to 6
3 6 to 9
4 10 to 12
5 13 to 15
6 16 to 20
7 21 to 25
8 26 to 30
9 31 to 36
10 37 to 42
11 42 to 44
12 45 to 47
13 48 to 50
14 51 to 54

The clinching number in the rating is merely a breakpoint. Numbers above the PM up to the CL number represent clinching while everything above the CL represents RM.
I generally use the table
PM - CL
57 - 67 to 69
58 - 68 to 70
59 - 68 to 70
60 - 69 to 71
61 - 69 to 71
62 - 70 to 72
63 - 70 to 72
64 - 71 to 73
If a fighter is a very crude, like a prize ring fighter in the Queensbury transition era I'll bump CL up to 74

Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. You made my day, mate.

Thanks bear, I understand clinching bit better now and will use for future creations.

It's guys like you that keep the forum and game relevant, so thought try and do my bit.

I'll probably be posting new fighters by cards for a while, already bit behind with viewing - so as and when will post.

That was how I got started posting fighters. There were so many members posting fighters back than and I felt obliged to contribute myself. Began with TCs because I wanted to use historical opponents rather than fictional guys. I'm always happy to see members share their creations.

John Dewey inspired me to post current fighters from televised bouts. I took me a long time to feel any where near to comfortable regarding active fighters. Learned a lot from John Dewey, Jackyle, and Ice Tea along the way. I try to keep my creations in harmony with theirs for compatibility purposes. It is all still a learning process.
