Bunting

I had a runner on first with a weak batter so I figured I would bunt. My batter did make a successful bunt but the runner did not move to second after my batter was thrown out at first? Is this a bug or do I need to tell my runner to run somehow? Thanks.

You wouldn't happen to have a screenshot, would you? Did you jot down the PbP? Anything? I can't say I've ever heard of this happening before.

I can't find the play by play that would show it but I did find this instance, which is kind of embarrassing if this is what I was referring to...

Batting: RHB Javier Godard

0-0: SINGLE (Line Drive, 89S)

Batting: LHB Luis Barrera

Pickoff Throw to First - No movement.
0-0: Foul Ball, location: 2F
0-1: Ball
1-1: Sac Bunt - play at second, runner OUT! 2-6

Based off of the play it seems like it was a crappy bunt. Probably right in front of the catcher.

The catcher pops up, grabs the ball and rockets it to 2nd base for the 2-6 put out. Seems like the runner on first did take off, but the play didn't develop as intended causing the lead runner to get out.

Maybe it was a bunt right at the first baseman. He tagged first and threw to second, but the smart runner retreated back to first? Like Harper did on a ht in the ASG.
