Legend for Symbols next to player IE #,+*, etc

Wondering what these symbols all mean, I see #, +, * and other symbols next to players name, I am wondering what they all mean and where I can see a legend?

It's usually right at the bottom of the page on which you view them.

Do you mean on the player's individual page, hmm cause I don't see it there.

Thank you, found it! I was wondering if one of those symbols meant they were a fictional player, not sure how I figure that out since I made sure to block fictional players from making the majors.Still haven't figured out how to know if a player is fictional lol.

Well, for that, if you are commissioner, you can activate the Editor in a player profile and look for a Lahman ID number. If you find one there, the player is not fictional.
