I would PM Andreas. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

You're certainly entitled to your opinions, but I'm curious as to what your beef is?

I'm sure there's a less attention seeking way to figure that out

what a mistake.

A mistake if you actually are returning OOTP 15... or a mistake if it's FHM and you aren't blessing your life with baseball.

either way.

Seems to me questions like this are part of why forums exist. I fail to see the attention seeking part.

Seconded. That seemed like a legitimate information request, sans theatrics.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I accidentally bought 14 instead of 15 preorder and figured out how to get a refund without posting lol. I guess it didn't seem like they tried very hard to figure it out so I searched for the underlying meaning haha

Pretty sure I remember this guy from the FHM boards shouting about refunds, so he likely already got one for the hockey game. Looks as if OOTP doesn't meet his standards, either? Perhaps he has a legit reason. *shrug*

There are plenty of questions asked daily that I've found answers to without posting. That doesn't make them any less legitimate. I've seen (and posted) attention seeking threads on this board. This isn't one of them. You can usually tell by wall of text nerdrage.

If you don't understand the attention seeking bit, you should check out the hockey forum, or this guy's list of posts. It's basically just complaining post after complaining post. He's just trolling like usual. He never offers any substantial feedback about WHY he's unhappy, just complains.

If this is the case, there's no need to point it out. Say "fill out a support ticket" and leave it at that. This isn't directed at you, it's directed at the first responders who pointed out the attention-seeking in the first place. If he really is an attention-seeker, doing that is just playing into what he wants by giving him attention. And if he's not, and is legitimately asking a question, you're not helping.

Smetana, jazzrack, and endgame have, in my opinion, the only legitimate responses in this thread. Don't give the attention-seeker attention; just answer the question and move on.
