Is there a way of eliminating a game that has already been played and the stats that were the result of that game, too?

It's only possible if you force exit the game before a save file occurs. Be aware that such an action may corrupt your league file.

Another possibility is to copy the dat files from your auto save folder. However I don't know how that can be used to re-boot the league under a different name.

My install backs up every game week or when I shut down the program. Just the other night I had the program lock up. The reboot was slow and it gave an error message indicating it was changing log files since some were newer than the game date. I was a little upset because the crash cost me a few minutes of my life lol. For what you want that might be just how to do it. FWIW, I uneducatedly figure unplugging or forcerestarting your PC midgame stands a 1 in 100 or so chance of corrupting some file or other so do so sparingly.
