Spring Training 2014

I'm hoping to start 2014 at the beginning of spring training, including games and expanded rosters. Is it possible and how would I do that?

No, I don't think so. The MLB Quickstart that comes with the game begins on March 21, after Spring Training is "over" (which may not be completely accurate but in the game, as in real life, the regular season begins with the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks in Australia on March 22 so ST needs to be finished in the game).

I tried saving this QS as another QS to see if it would allow an earlier starting date but no. Saving it as a template would work as to starting earlier but I don't think players are saved with a template, thereby defeating the purpose. Anyway, the goal of the MLB Quickstart is to simulate the start of the 2014 baseball season as closely as possible, so allowing the variability of ST (with injuries and different players "making" the ballclubs) would be another way to defeat the purpose of the QS.

It can be done, but the game would start on Jan. 1.
Don't do the expanded rosters till after importing the template.
Templates save all the players. It may or may not change IDs. It doesn't save any graphics.
You're gonna need 2 templates. Here's how to set it up:
