Started a 1974 game. See screenshot. WHA stats are not being associated to WHA totals.

Aother player signed....got Manager message that he had signed for 3 years to a contract then just disappeared and found him with the Montreal Canadiens. Is a contract not a contract that it should be honored and if the other teams want him they have to buy out contract. Even if NHL has rights do they not still have to do something?
Just a question, maybe I am being stupid?

Another issue. Playoff stats League are all being labeled as "Stanley"... should show as NHL and WHA where appropriate.

These really should be fixed... all this game does is generate stats ultimately. Be nice if they added up and looked right.

Also, "Reggie's" stats for the 65-66 season do not include his time with the Rangers (35-19-14-24 124 PIM)

The longer the wait for the patch probably means I won't be purchasing the next version.

If they stick to their plan of releasing yearly iterations, then they gotta pull the plug on this soon

Having supported OOTP since nearly their beginning, and even though I'm just a "casual" hockey fan, I still purchased this game before the release, due to the fact that I'm a huge sports sim guy. And I do think that for hardcore hockey fans, they will continue to support this product, but for someone like me, I really won't have any interest in purchasing the next release. Having owned several businesses myself, I'm sure these guys are excellent "coders"(if that's the right term), but I really wonder if they had a "business plan" when they decided to tackle this project? As a consultant, and working with many startups, and small buisinesses, my advice to the developers would be, don't quit your day job. The drop in sales on the next version will be drastic. Just make sure you have some steady income coming in, and although still a struggle, it will be easier to overcome certain obstacles, and the outcome is, this game will survive. But counting on a game like this to put food on the plate, pay the rent, etc., not going to happen!

With that said, ten years from now, I hope this game is still around, and that the nightmare of version one will truly be a distant memory.

Definitely agree. I'm just ticked off that the game hasn't been playable since I bought it.

Sure its "playable" for a short term game but not if you want a long term proper game which is how it should be able to be played.

I think the thing that really gets me upset is that the company is launching additional games and then admittedly taking the developers of this game to work on those games when this game is still unplayable.

Adding more SKUS to your lineup when your current products are not working as advertised or intended is just a horrible business decision and a surefire way to lose customers.

This is my first log-in since several weeks and I'm pretty astonished that there's still no update in Sebastian's Update Thread about the game engine... This is by far the most important missing piece for me since the game became stable. I hope that there'll be an update soon about the release of the new patch.

I have never really passionately wanted a PC game to be successful or to be the best in its genre. Over the years some of the games I have played just have improved and been fixed when required and I have enjoyed playing them.

Hockey is one of my real passions in life. I realised fairly early on I was a mediocre player to say the least so I immersed myself in being a fan. The thought of having a really great Hockey Management game is awesome and I so want FHM to be great and the best it can be.

We are back in a situation where any meaningful information from the developers has stalled. In my work I always believe there is time for even the smallest updates such as "we are working on this", "we are fixing this", "we tried this and it hasn't worked but we are doing this instead" or even "we have found a few issues in testing and things will be delayed". Through this approach I have cultivated and developed a great relationship with my users.

Silence implies that nothing is being done (which I doubt is the case), a lack of progress or a lack of direction. So come on OOTP break the silence.

It is what it has been since day one of the release ... a major marketing and customer service desaster.

I get that they may have been prepping for a Steam release but if they think the critique they are getting now is bad, wait till FHM gets a Steam forum. They are the Mos Eisley of forums; a wretched hive of scum and villainy
