Dual-monitor

I've setup dual monitors, one is my MacBook pro and the other is just a 27" inch tv screen. Now what I'd like to do is get OOTP15 to be in full screen on me 27" screen, but every time I go to the settings and try to adjust the size it automatically goes back to my macbook pro side and just reloads on that screen. So then I drag OOTP15 to the big screen and it's still the same size on my macbook screen which is obviously much smaller.. So how can I get OOTP to be on the much bigger screen and utilize more of the screen....

Thanks for any help in advance guys!

I ran a test where I did the following:
  1. I lowered the resolution on my main monitor below its maximum (and the maximum of the second display.)
  2. I pushed OOTP out on my second monitor.
  3. Under the OOTP settings I set the windows size to MAXIMIZED.
  4. The OOTP window switched by itself to the main window (as if anyone cares, that really pisses me off.)
  5. At this point I could not see the bottom of the OOTP window. When I moved the window to my second monitor everything was. I could see it all.
I hope this helps.

So I did step 1. Got to step 2 and moved OOTP to the second display (Larger Display) and when I go to MAXIMIZE it in the second display it automatically goes to my Main screen (Smaller display/Laptop) and puts it in "full screen" and once I window it it goes back to the smaller box of OOTP.

I also found when I was messing with resolution on my screen it messed with OOTP and would cut some of the words of in the game.

Note: I'm not sure if it matters or not, but I'm working on a Laptop Macbook Pro....

Are you able to display other apps on your external TV at a higher resolution than what you can display on your MacBook Pro?

What type of connection do you have between the MBP and your external TV?

The reason I'm asking these questions is that there are some known issues with versions of OS X, specifically with the configuration you are describing.

I'm able to display other apps in high resolution and same with OOTP, but when I go to full screen that app automatically jumps over to my laptop. I tried another app and everything.

The connection between my laptop and tv is an HDMI cable.

We have a bug. An OOTP bug. I never noticed it before as my two displays match in resolution. The bug comes from the issue that when OOTP settings are modified the primary screen size is used as the source size, even when the second display will handle the higher resolution. This might be okay if the setting of 'WINDOWED' would result in a true Mac windowed app, where you could drag to the desired size. Instead the 'WINDOWED' setting disables the maximize button.

I will handle logging the bug.

Thanks for your help! I really appreciate it, I will look out for future patches to see if they address this. But yes what you explained is exactly what is happening is it's pushing it to my main screen even when my tv can handle the resolution.
