Weird bug with playoff schedule...

I've got 16 teams in 4 divisions in 2 leagues. The playoffs takes the top two teams from each division.

This creates an 8-team playoff. Well the first round is classified the League Championship series (when really its division - or maybe Wildcard), the second round is classified World Championship series (really the LCS). The third round is classified as World Championship (correct).

But anyway - the above are set in the setup for the league and should probably be reviewed a bit to make sure they line up correctly.

The bug however is that when I sim through to the 3rd round - I'm down to my final two teams. All is looking great until I go into the schedule. None of the games are scheduled by the game.

I think manually scheduling them will work, but its annoying for sure. Just tested this and only the first game gets taken into account and the championship team is chosen from the Game 1 winner.

So it is indeed an unrecoverable bug - only way to get things to work is to use another wildcard style I think.

Interestingly, I've been able to semi-correct it...I didn't have a backup of my league on the day before playoffs were scheduled so it doesn't help me.

But if you click the Playoff button type in the League Setup | Advanced screen, it then adds the 3rd series length and 3rd series name to the screen. Mine didn't have those and as such, only two of the series had names and/or lengths on that screen.

Weird bug.
