Internation FA spending limit

I get this message:

"you may not offer such a high signing bonus because your spending on international fa last year exceeded the limit"

I cannot find anywhere to find this value or alter it. Where is this limit set?

That's a hell of a thing, I have it set to 0, so how could I have been over last season? Even if I increase it to more it says I was over last season. There is no way to avoid this message in my current season then?

Bump. Hello? Still hoping someone knows more about this. Increasing the amount I have been shown leads to the players asking for outrageous bonuses. What I am looking for is a way to have no limit on this at all and/or reset my last season budget for it. It is odd that 0 does not disable this.

I'd only put an immense cap so no team will have the cash to overpass it anyway. Set it to like 20-30 millions

wouldn't that cause the international FAs bonus demands to go up as well, so no teams would have the cash to sign them either?

seems like their demands rise/fall in correspondence with the $$ cap level, so there might not be a way around the penalties if you go over the yearly limit when signing them.

Mmmm good point, I'm not sure if this is handled the same way as bonus demand for draftee or not.

EDIT: you were right, I put a 30,000,000$ international FA signing cap and end up with a guy asking 42,500,000$. Definitly not the good way to do it.
