Program Error....Help!!!!

After reinstalling Windows 2000...About five minutes into game I keep getting same program error that shuts game down.

OOTP5.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

Do I need to reinstall game and if so....unlicense?

Thanks for any help on this matter.

Try d/l Windows2000 SP 3 from http://www.microsoft.com or run Windows update. I've have a number of folks say that after installing SP3 that the errors of this sort vanish.

Steve-1st time I posted this....After downloading service pack 3, it worked like a charm. Yesterday a friend installed an EA Sports game.

Now when I start the game it gives me the same error message.

I've Defrag disk...uninstalled OOTP5 and reinstalled it...the same for service pack 3. Still same results....the error message then shuts game down.

Again I would appreciate any help in the matter. Thanks
