The harry_sullivan image in the Facepack, also shown on Sullivan's B-R.com page, actually pictures D.E. Sullivan with the 1909 Harrisburg Senators. I have replaced it with this image, from Sullivan's obituary in the 23-Sep-1919 Rockford Morning Star.

Thanks, UK for the photo of Al Veigel. I used to see his name on Wikipedia's oldest living baseball players list all the time. He must have been among the 5 or 10 oldest living ballplayers until he passed away at age 95 in April 2012.
In addition, he was among the 5 last survivors of 1930s major leagues baseball. Today there is only one living individual who played major leagues baseball in the 1930s: Hall Of Fame 2nd Baseman, Bobby Doerr.

Despite a major career as a pitching coach, photos of Larry Rothschild during his brief playing career with the Tigers are apparently scarce. Until recently, the only such photo I had ever seen was a small and not very sharp black and white headshot. Here is a better action photo of Rothschild, posted to ebay by member 154827 and dated 1982. Maybe someday a good color shot will show up...or a decent one of Dennis Kinney with Detroit...

Not sure where the idea of scarcity comes from. He's in the 1982 Tigers' yearbook, in color (the previously posted photo is a color shot by George Brace from 1981)

Thanks, that is great. As to the perception of scarcity...well, to me Rothschild was scarce because I had spent several years hunting for good shots on the web, ebay, baseball-birthdays, and come up with very little. That's why I come here often; thanks to the generosity of others I have found hundreds of missing 80's guys on this site. Thanks again!
