Is anyone else getting this error when they are trying to save a jersey?



It's preventing me from saving any jersey, even the generic jersey that opens with the program.

I haven't seen anyone post anything about this in the five days since the update, so maybe the fact that it is happening to me is unusual? Does anyone have any insights into this?

EDIT: I tried restarting the computer and that didn't help. I uninstalled Jersey Creator and reinstalled from scratch and that also did not help.

EDIT #2: I was able to save a template in 1.2.4, even though I could not save any jerseys. I have an old JC version on my computer, 1.0.7. When I opened the template in that old version, I saw this dialog box:



I clicked Continue, the template opened, but the text I included in it was all screwed up, and practically unusable.

I can't duplicate this, but maybe if I could get the template that you were able to save I could see what's going on.

I can save templates. It's the jersey I made wth the template that I can't save. Does that mae a difference?

Well, I am hoping that the template will let me see what settings you are using so that I can try to duplicate your problem.

You said you can't even save the default jersey, do you try that immediately after opening without doing anything else first?

Something else you can check, is that the path you are saving to exists. Look at what you have it set to in options.

Yes, I did that.

The latest template I did is attached.

By the way, when I uninstalled 1.2.4 and installed an earlier version (1.1.5), I got the same problem.

Great!

You must have moved, renamed or deleted the folder after the options were set.

I'll add some code in the next version to check for that and ask to create the folder if it doesn't exist.

How can i make these have an old time look to them? 1913 -1920 era.

Update version 1.2.5.0

• Angled text now moves in the correct clockwise direction and is now much smoother, like with the patch logos in the last update.
  
• Added ability to angle imported wordmark image.
  
• Added Center Nudge Button to center wordmark (image or text) on jersey front.
  
• Added check if save and template folders exist and if not will offer to change path in options or create now.
  
• More bug fixes and tweaks.

NOTE: Templates that use angled text or an imported wordmark image will need to be loaded and adjusted then saved again.

Wordmarks will just need to be moved up (use the new center nudge button) and angled text will need to be moved up and angle reversed from original angle.

So if you had an angle of 10 degrees, you would change it to 350 degrees.

This is not setup for that. There is a way, but you would need to use Photoshop or another software program to create layers that you could import to the Creator.

I have been working on this a little and think maybe I can contribute a few layers for import that can help some of you guys out that want to make the earlier period jerseys... Here is a couple of samples of what I made today just using the Jersey and Ball cap Creator with importing just one layer into them... A few weeks ago I corresponded a bit with Justafan regarding how to do this... Hopefully this can help y'all out some... The one drawback as I see it is that you cannot change the color of an imported layer... So what I will try and do is to come up with several separate layers for import each using a basic color for the collar and or tie... Lets say for now maybe a blue, black, red, cream, brown and maybe a green... I will also make some step by step directions for you so as to try and make it as easy as possible...

Thanks tx, I was wondering how this has been going. I get a lot of request for vintage elements to be added to the Jersey Creator. This project of yours will help satisfy the needs of the community and I commend you.
