Spring Training

Has there been any updates to the way spring training works? I know in the past it was quite hard to have non-roster invitees during spring training. I will admit I have not tried spring training in probably two years (When I get home tonight I will give it a try again) but watching the game today made me think about how much fun? it would be to manage pre-season games with all of the lineup and defensive changes. Any thoughts?

OOTP 15 introduced "spring training rosters" - which basically lets you put 60 players on the "active" roster during spring training, and you can move those players in between active rosters and minor league rosters without incurring service time, adding them to 40-man rosters, worrying about minor league options, etc. I assume OOTP 16 will have the same - don't know if there are any improvements.

Split Squad Games? Minor League Camp? Teams sending people to the Minors before opening day who are on like 70 man roster what I always have it set as?

I doubt we'll see split squad and minor league camps, but you can send people to the minors before opening day if you want, and their minor league option won't kick in until opening day starts. So if you change your mind and need to recall that person before opening day (say someone gets injured), you didn't waste an option on him. At least that's the way it's supposed to work now - I haven't actually tested it in OOTP 15 because I always keep my full roster "active" until opening day.

I notice my team just sends down people who were invited to Camp before opening day. The other two would be nice along with Spring Training Stadium's. Also no before Spring Training starts who has been invited to Camp. No Roster limits in Camp or Offseason.

Spring Training

I would also like to see the actual league split into the Grape Fruit/Cactus.
