Contract question

I know there's no new to the game section yet for ootp16 so I thought I would post here...

When playing ootp 15, or baseball in other sports comparing to other sports the contracts amount, what's a good amount of money for a bad player, decent player and a good player worth?

A bad player - under a mill or minor league contract
A decent player - 2-8 million
A good player - 9 + mill
A superb player 15+ mill a season

Didn't realize ball players got 20 mill a season to throw a ball just trying to understand this better, so that when I start my new save on Friday with my expansion team I don't over pay

if you go into the league options, and click the financial tab, you should be able to see the average amount players receive depending on quality. I'll post a picture when I can.
