Ticket Prices
Did we lose the ability to change them at any time during the season? This is extremely disappointing - I tend to monitor fan interest and team performance throughout the season to ride high waves and lessen the blow on low waves. A team in the crapper in September won't charge as much for a ticket as that SAME team would if they were in a playoff push (how could you assume that before the season starts?).

The reason you might get a ticket for more or less is that the ticket re-sellers will certainly change prices. I went to a Rangers game last September and I think I paid 10$ for a ticket 5 rows up. But their website still had the original 50$ or something listed for tickets in that section. If you are in commissioner mode, you can set it at any point, but otherwise you will have to decide how you expect things to go in the season and set prices accordingly the year before. (After the first year, prices lock in at the end of Winter Meetings) |

Yeah, the Jays definitely announce the ticket prices (and if they've gone up/down) quite a bit before the season starts and they don't change until the next season.
It would be frustrating as hell as a fan if the prices were constantly changing. brad |

The one thing you can be confident about is that season ticket sales are "in the bank", so if the team does go into the crapper, you won't suddenly have 300 people show up to your games. At least having that minimum attendance, which have paid the higher rate, should generally offset what you used to do, changing your prices on the fly in response to the team. |
